Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
There’s nothing too puzzling about this lot, except of course the offered vintage puzzles that showcase Maurice Richard and the Montreal Canadiens. The first puzzle features Richard, the second the 1953 Stanley Cup winning goal, while the third features the Stanley Cup winning 1953 Canadiens. All complete and 14” x 19” when assembled, both 1953 boxes measure roughly 11” x 2” x 9 ¼”, while the Richard puzzle box is approx. 12” x 1 ¾” x 9 ¾”. The puzzles remain in very good condition, while the boxes show toning and surface wear along with the odd crease, piece of clear tape and corner tear. The Richard box has also been signed by the immortal legend, with a ballpoint signature near his image that exhibits just slight fading.
