Constructed in 1929, the fabled Chicago Stadium on Madison was home to both the Black Hawks and Bulls for decades. This original Chicago Stadium blueprint from February 27 1950 is on cream-coloured paper and it features the intended seating set-up for forthcoming boxing matches. At roughly 27 ½” x 36 ¼” and produced by the Chicago Stadium Corporation, the text in the lower front states in full “boxes and main floor seating for full fight set-up”. In good condition, the blueprint suffers from half a century of handling wear which includes some creasing and heavy toning along with a 3” slit on the left side and edge tears/rips and holes in the top right.
