Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
While the city of Sudbury has had a team named “Wolves” almost every year going back to WWI, the current OHL team originates from 1972. In this lot we have a pair of Wolves sweaters, worn by Derek MacKenzie and Jason Jaspers in the late-1990s. Home and away examples, both jersey’s sport Bauer Pro size tagging in the collar, with embroidered CHL and Bauer crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with dual-colour tackle twill numbers and name-on nameplate, along with attractive team crests, both garments show heavy use. There are dark marks present on the lower front and sleeves, along with pilling and board burns. There are also a few small holes around the elbow areas resulting from burns. MacKenzie played for the Wolves from 1997-98 to 2000-01, while Jaspers was with the club from 1998-99 to 2000-01.
