Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
The Heart and Stroke Foundation and King Clancy patches are sewn on the shoulders of Dan Daoust’s 1986-87 Maple Leafs game-worn jersey. This combination of patches, with Clancy on the left shoulder and the Heart patch on the right, was only worn during the second half of the 1986-87 season and easily ranks among the toughest and most desired styles for collectors. There is a heavily-reinforced fight strap and the CCM* logo is embroidered on the right rear tail but the tagging in the collar is gone. Game wear shows in board burns on the sleeves and the left rear tail, black marks on the white twill “4” on the left sleeve and marks on the left side of the Maple Leafs crest on the front.
