Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
A journeyman who saw action in a number of different leagues, this Detroit Red Wings jersey was worn by Patrick Boileau in his only season with the club, 2002-03. Size tagging appears in the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with attractive tackle twill numbers and letters along with the classic winged wheel team crest, the back name has been placed directly onto the jersey. The rubberized team stamp resides on the inside hem denoting the garment as a “1st Set” example, while the team store price tag remains attached to the collar.
Game-wear on the away garment includes a few dark marks on the lower front including the team crest, along with 11 team repairs on and around the right sleeve’s elbow.
