Hockey legend Jack Adams received this 1951-52 Red Wings NHL Champions silver-plated tray to commemorate the Winged Wheelers’ Prince of Wales Trophy win on their way to the Stanley Cup. Adams assembled a powerhouse featuring HOFers Howe, Abel, Lindsay, Sawchuk, Kelly, Pronovost and Delvecchio as the architect of the Red Wings dynasty. “Detroit Hockey Club Inc. Champions NHL 1951-1952 Jack Adams - Manager” is engraved in the recessed middle of this nicely detailed plate that measures 12 1/8” in diameter. There are various scratches from handling on this historic tray that is very nicely preserved overall.
The "Sheffield Reproduction" and various hallmarks stamped on the back are hard to read but present. There is a handwritten number on the back.
