One of the most talented players Russia has ever developed, defenceman Alexei Kasatonov has received an amazing seven gold medals, with five won in the World Championships, and a pair from Olympic play. This Soviet National Team jersey was worn by Kasatonov in the early-1980s. Mostly mesh with knit striping bands, Koho size tagging appears in the collar with “Made in Finland”. The CCCP team logo, numbers and name are a vinyl-like material and they’ve been sewn-on. Game-wear includes a few dark marks present on the lower front and sleeve’s striping bands, along with a few small scattered board burns. This is the exact style jersey worn by the Soviets in competitions such as the World Championships and the 1984 Canada Cup.
