Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Worn during the 2001-02 season to honor individuals in the Kings organization that lost their lives aboard United Airlines Flight 175 on 9/11, this LA Kings jersey game-worn by Jason Holland has the “AM” patch over the left breast for Garnet “Ace” Bailey and Mark Bavis. With size 56 tagging in the collar, there’s also a KOHO patch on the back neckline and NHL crest on the back bottom hem. Fashioned in full tackle twill, this garment also sports the 2002 NHL All-Star Game patch over the right breast. With just light game-use to mention, there’s a few tiny board burns on each elbow and a stick mark on the bottom of the team crest. The Kings Team patch that’s been initialed by trainer Peter Millar has been affixed to the bottom inner hem and it states that this garment is a “Set 1” example. An LOA from the Los Angeles Kings organization will accompany, as well as a Certificate of Registration from the MeiGray Group.
