Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
From his time with Toronto in the late-1980s, we have this Ed Olczyk Toronto Maple Leafs game-worn jersey. A faded Maska tag remains in the collar with embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem. The jersey also features tackle twill name and numbers, while the intact fight strap shows some rusting on the fastener buttons, with some heavy pilling in the surrounding area. Great game-use is notable with marks on both sleeves including some red discolouration at the bottom of the “6” on the left sleeve. This garment also has 6 teams repairs, with one small one below the team crest, two half inch repairs on the right sleeve below the number, another 1” repair below the number on the left sleeve, one on the back below the nameplate and finally one large repair along the seam in the right back upper corner that measures almost 2”. This jersey has also been signed by Ed in black marker on the back “1”, with the signature somewhat blending into the dark background.
