Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
The Toronto Maple Leafs are memorable for two reasons regarding the 1963-64 season, first – they were Stanley Cup Champions, second – Bobby Baun scored one of the most storied goals in Stanley Cup history when he netted the overtime winning goal in game six on a broken ankle. This large display piece features ’63-64 style “Tall Boys” Parkies cards of each player, with a large photo in the center of Frank Mahovlich that has been signed in gold sharpie in the upper right corner. A plaque above states the piece’s details, with Toronto and Stanley Cup pins on both sides. Framed to total dimensions of 25” x 42”, the frame shows light wear from handling.
