Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
One of the kingpins of the pre-war era and in O-Pee-Chee’s initial hockey card effort, legendary defenceman and hockey figure King Clancy is offered here in splendid EX-MT 6 form. In the history of PSA, just five of 85 total submissions of card #31 have scored higher than this Pop-11. The PSA Population Report includes an 8, three 7s, two 7s with qualifiers and a 6.5. One of the big-money cards in the 1933-34 OPC set, this one tells, on the back, of Clancy being bought from Ottawa by Toronto for $35,000!
