Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

Ottawa returned to the NHL for the 1992-93 season when the modern Senators made their debut in Canada’s capital. Peter Sidorkiewicz wore this white home jersey as the Sens’ No. 1 goalie during their challenging inaugural season. The Stanley Cup Centennial patch is sewn on the right breast of Peter’s game-worn jersey, which is photo-matched to the two black marks near the "S" in Senators on the lower part of the team crest. Black marks on the front of the jersey offer testimony to the barrage of shots Sidorkiewicz endured along with more on the sleeves. Maska and size 56 flag tags sit in the back of the neck and there is salting and minor rust in the fight strap. Comes with Peter Sidorkiewicz’s signed LOA.
