Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
A modern hockey legend, Ron Francis sits second all-time for career assists behind only Wayne Gretzky, and he’s fifth for all-time career points with 1798. This Franklin 8050 Graphite model stick was game-used by Francis in the mid-1990’s while with the Pittsburgh Penguins. With the original tape in place on both the blade and knob, “Francis” in factory graphics sits on the Franklin wooden blade. “10” has been added to the gauze-style tape on the knob, and a section of tape on the blade has been removed so Ron could place a big black marker signature to the lighter section, and it projects extremely well.
