Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

The Canadiens had high hopes for Higgins after taking him 18th overall in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He debuted with the club in 1997-98 and was in his third pro season when he wore this 1999-00 Pro Player red road jersey in action with Montreal. Featuring the NHL 2000 patch which all clubs wore that year, this jersey has been through some on-ice action which can especially be noticed with a hole on the right elbow, some unidentified staining in that region, and multiple holes on the left arm at the elbow and cuff. There is also a small hole on the front just above and to the right of the Canadiens crest. There is no sizing tag on this jersey and the white tag on the collar has lost some of its text through washing. At the bottom hem on the back, there is a large Pro Player logo along with the NHL shield. Obtained directly from the Canadiens, a LOA from the team signed by Rejean Houle will accompany.
