Chosen 54th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round of the 1994 entry draft, right winger Chris Murray wore No. 57 with the Habs before switching to the No. 22 that appears on this gamer from the 1996-97 season. Murray appeared in 56 games that season before he was traded to Phoenix. This white Canadiens jersey has a size-56 fly tag in the neck, its original fight strap, and a CCM laundry instruction tag inside the left seam. CCM and NHL logos are embroidered onto the right tail and the red, white and blue “CH” logo is entirely tackle twill, as are the numbers on the back and the surname letters sewn onto the nameplate. This particular jersey exhibits game marks on the sleeves and front hem with touches of puckering on the team crest and back numbers. It comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Montreal Canadiens, signed by Rejean Houle.
