Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
The NHL’s most valuable player and Hart Trophy winner in 1936-37 in his first of three seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, (his last three in the league), was Babe Siebert, with this example the most valuable World Wide Gum card #3 on the PSA Population Report. Being deemed worthy of next-to-impossible-to-hope-for-nicer NM-MT 8 status, the Pop-1 is just one of 35 total V356 cards, (all players combined – over 1600 submissions), to earn a mark of 8, with none grading higher. PSA figures inform of 21 Siebert cards in company holders, including five at NM 7. Exceptional bragging rights are offered with this magnificent Babe!
