Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
The thought that this precious find may have originally been folded around a Turk Broda or Syl Apps rookie card or similar coveted die-cut cards of Morenz, Shore, Clancy, Conacher and others is surely fascinating to lovers of pre-war collectibles. One-cent wrapper looks to have been stored flat for decades and is free of any unsightly flaws, with a tiny, tiny tear in the lightly soiled right edge. This is the type of wrapper that kids could send in five of, along with five cents, in exchange for a swell O-Pee-Chee hockey board game. A wonderful addition to a pre-war stash it will be.
