Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Here are some fantastic historical hockey items featuring the autographs of three members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. The original signatures of Frank Boucher, Bun Cook and Bill Mosienko appear on the telegram form, letters and scrapbook pages that make up this unique lot. Boucher's original ink signature appears on a 1948 letter on Madison Square Garden Corporation letterhead to U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service Canada on behalf of Norman Cook. Boucher's unsigned letter to Cook with instructions for reporting to the Rangers' 1948 training camp is also on MSG letterhead and a 1947 letter to Cook from Al Sutphin is also included. Cook's signature appears in pencil on a handwritten Canadian Pacific Telegraphs telegram form and Mosienko has signed his 1941 letter to Cook, his former coach. Mosienko's handwritten letter is pasted onto a full page from Cook's scrapbook that features newspaper clippings about the Rangers Hall of Fame forward's coaching career in the 1940s. Originally obtained directly from Bun Cook's family.
