A terrific team leader in Hartford, Pittsburgh and Carolina during his Hall of Fame career, Ron Francis first wore the Penguins’ captain’s “C” in ’94-95 when Mario Lemieux missed the lockout- shortened season and then again in ’97-98 after Mario announced his initial retirement. White knit Pens home jersey has Ron’s number “10” along with a “C” added in black marker to the Starter tag in the neck, below which a “54-R” size tag is sewn. Light game use to report with a few stick marks on the front, a black mark within the “0”s of both the back and left sleeve, a 1-inch slice in the nearby elbow area and light interior pilling in the fight strap and elbow regions. Worn by a 3-time Lady Byng Trophy winner and class act.
