Chosen No. 1 overall by Edmonton in the 2010 Draft, Taylor Hall wore this photo-matched Oilers retro gamer when he made his NHL debut against the Calgary Flames on October 7, 2010! A photo of Hall from the game shows matches to the “4” sewn on the left sleeve. Size 56 and Elite Sportswear flag tags are sewn in the back of the neck of this single use game and the Elite Oilers 2010/2011 Season Set #1 patch is sewn inside the right rear tail. Obviously light wear includes a board burn on the seam between the lower blue and white stripes on the left sleeve, which has black marks on the white band and a board burn in the orange near the cuff. A MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2010-2011 Season patch sewn inside the left rear tail has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the accompanying Oilers/MeiGray LOA jointly signed by Kevin Lowe.
The photo-matches to the 4 include: 1) the space between the horizontal white lines on the lower left side of the number are slightly crooked; 2) the vertical white line on the bottom left of the number is at a slight angle as it widens moving from bottom to top, and 3) there is a small blue thread in the left corner of the triangle in the middle of the number. There is also a small loose thread on the bottom of the right part of the H on the nameplate that is visible in the photo but the angle is not good enough to call it a match.
