Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Wayne Gretzky 1981-82 Oilers Titan TPM gamer is from the Great One’s sensational 212-point campaign that included the single-season record of 92 goals that stands to this day. “To Claude Good Luck Wayne Gretzky 99” reads the blue marker dedicated autograph low on the shaft of this beauty that exhibits really great game use. The “Nov 2 1981” date stamp sits low on the back of the shaft while “W. Gretzky” is stamped high on the shaft with “99” handwritten both on the top and bottom of the shaft in faded black marker. The knob tape job remains in excellent condition but Wayne’s tape job was removed from the blade, which exhibits a rough top edge with a few small chips. Comes with an LOA from Shawn Chaulk.
“WG” pencil notation is written just above the heel at the bottom of the back of the shaft.
