Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

It goes without saying that most NHL players don’t reach 600 goals during their career. It’s a tremendous amount of bulging the twine, and at this writing, just 18 have managed this remarkable feat, which makes this game puck a significant little biscuit for sure. It’s the puck that lit the lamp for Brett Hull’s 660th on his way to attaining 741 before he hung them up, which placed Hull third in all-time scoring. Trainer’s tape that covers both the Wings and reverse logos fills us in, with the handwritten notation as follows: “Detroit vs. San Jose, 3rd period 12/21/2001, #17 B. Hull, #19 S. Yzerman, #21 B. Devereaux Time 16:49, 3rd goal”. Brett’s incredible 660th goal puck, with an LOA signed by Hull. Wow!
The Red Wings won this game 3-0, and Hull’s goal was his 11th of the season in the team's 36th game. It was also his 1206th point. The trainer’s tape covers much of the puck but some scuffing is still visible.
