Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
One of the greatest moments in U.S.A. hockey history, and indeed a legendary hockey moment, was the 1980 U.S. Olympic squad's upending of the powerhouse Russians and then the Finns to capture gold at Lake Placid, forever after dubbed the “Miracle on Ice”. From Brett Hull is a classic 16” x 20” photo of the team in joyous celebration, housed in a 22 ½” x 26 ½” frame, signed in clear and bold blue marker by 20 members of the U.S squad including coach Herb Brooks and players Craig, McClanahan, Wells, Suter, Pavelich, Eruzione, Broten, Harrington, Christian and 10 others. This limited-edition 520/980 photo and signatures are excellent, while the frame shows only minor scratching in a few small areas. Comes with an LOA signed by Brett Hull.
