Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Pair of Maple Leafs treasures from the late-1940s dynasty includes a multi-signed MLG program from the 1947-48 Stanley Cup championship season as well as a late-1940s game-used stick attributed to Wild Bill Ezinicki. HOFer Harry Watson signed in pencil on the cover of the program with a picture of Ted Kennedy on the cover. Max and Doug Bentley signed the line-up centerfold along with Apps, Broda, Mosienko and Boesch, and Bud Poile signed the back cover. To note - the cover has become unattached. Ezinicki's number "12" is handwritten below the well-worn taped knob on this Northland Professional gamer with cracks in the bottom of the shaft, which Jim Thomson and Harry Taylor have signed in pencil with the original tape job removed from the blade.
