Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Second baseman Jeff Gardner wore this Expos game-used jersey during the 1994 campaign, a season which saw the Expos finishing with the best record in baseball, only to have an MLB strike shut down any hopes and dreams the team and its fans had for the postseason. This Gardner gamer features the Expos logo patch on the left sleeve and a MLB "125th Anniversary' patch on the right, with the jersey having classic red on blue on white tackle twill crest, numbers, and name sewn on the grey garment. A small "Fleur de Lis" patch is on the left breast. A tag sewn on the left front tail includes "Russell Athletic" as well as "Diamond Collection 46". Simply a tremendous game-used jersey from a powerhouse '94 Expos squad.
