Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Simply a nice and colorful trio of game-worn minor league jerseys offered, beginning with a 2002-03 gamer from the St. Petersburg Parrots, an ACHL (Atlantic Coast Hockey League) team that would move early in the season from Winston-Salem to St. Pete, and which would fold after one season. Silkscreened with the number 30, this rare Parrots jersey shows slight wear in the cuff and hem, and with no nameplate and only the number to distinguish it. Tagged in the collar as "OT Sports XX Large", this is one of the more colorful jerseys you'll see, with a crest sporting a bright green and yellow parrot holding a hockey stick. Next up, from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League) comes a game-worn 2002-03 jersey from goaltender Mark Kielkucki, tagged size 58 with "G" handwritten beside the size, along with an "OT Sports " tag also sewn in the collar. Marks are noticeably scattered around the front and on both sleeves, and on the back of the jersey is sewn a "MeiGray" patch along with an "ECHL patch. Lastly, a gamer from the WCHL (West Coast Hockey League), worn in the 1995-96 season by Latvian-born goaltender Sergei Naumov, and which includes a size 58 tag in the collar, some board paint transfer on the left sleeve, as well as scattered markings in various places. A nice colorful gamer with a seagull and palm trees plastering the front. [red] Addendum; The St Pete Parrots jersey is a pre-season jersey. The plain iron on numbers were used only in the pre-season. The #30 was worn by Ray Fraser, a goalie.[/red]
