Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Terrific Oldtimers game-worn jersey donned by HOFer Ted Lindsay in the 1980s when Labatt’s Brewery and JOFA sponsored and arranged to have retired NHL players such as Lindsay participate in competitive hockey games. Tagged in the collar as a “Maska size L”, Lindsay’s gamer, with the embroidered “Detroit” on red and white tackle twill crest, includes his name on white tackle twill letters sewn on a red nameplate, with both sleeves featuring “Labatt’s Original Six Hockey Heroes” patches. Jersey shows light wear, with pilling and crest puckering evident, and has been preserved in excellent condition. We’re just surprised “Terrible Ted’s" gamer doesn’t have a fight strap! Comes with a 2" x 12" plaque.
