Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Nice Habs gamer worn by talented Gary Leeman in a year, 1993, when he and his team would ultimately hoist the Stanley Cup. Tagged in the collar as a size 52, the Leeman gamer shows light wear but features the terrific "Forum de Montreal 44th NHL All-Star Game" patch sewn onto the right breast, and with this and '93 being a Cup year, it's a definite double whammy. The speedy player had been a Calgary Flame early into the '92-'93 campaign but after asking to be traded, he was shipped to Montreal where he would collect 18 points in 20 games before the march to the Stanley Cup began. A nice gamer from a fine player with 667 big league games to his credit. Comes with an LOA signed by Rejean Houle of the Montreal Canadiens. Leeman was originally a star defenceman in junior and had been converted to forward, which proved to be a great idea. While with the Leafs in 1989-90 for example, the sniper netted 51 goals and would total 466 points over his 667 career games.
