Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
The jersey's so bright you gotta wear shades! It's grinding forward John-Paul Kelly's game-worn, early-'80s L.A. Kings jersey featuring the purple, gold, and white colors of the Kings, with the iconic "Crown" team crest on the front. This mesh and knit combo jersey was worn by Kelly in the 1980-81 or 1981-82 season, and includes Goodman & Sons size XL tagging on the collar, with yellow on white tackle twill numbers on the sleeves, purple on white tackle twill numbers on the back, purple tackle twill surname letters sewn directly onto the jersey, with the gorgeous embroidered and twill "Crown" team crest on the front. Various marks are scattered throughout. A terrific gamer from a fellow who played 400 NHL games, all with the L.A. Kings. Also to mention is a Velcro/snap closure fight strap.
