Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Terrific 2002 CFL Ottawa Renegades gamer worn by wide receiver Jimmy Oliver in the Renegades inaugural season, 2002. Oliver, who had spent the previous three seasons with the BC Lions, would enjoy a banner season with the 2002 Renegades, playing 18 games with 82 catches for 1004 yards. This Oliver game-used jersey is tagged in the collar as “02-44” (year and size), with a “Molson” patch sewn on the left breast and the Renegades logo screened on the right sleeve. Marks are noticeable on both the front and back of the jersey, including on the big number”85” on the back. The Renegades were founded in 2002 after the city had lost their fabled Rough Riders franchise seven years prior, and suspended play after just four seasons.
