Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Another Stanley Cup champion and PSA champion to tell you about here, with “Mud” Bruneteau appearing in delectable NM-MT 8 form. Appearing in the Stanley Cup playoffs as a rookie with Detroit in 1936, Bruneteau scored the winning goal in the longest overtime game in history – six OT periods – and helped the Red Wings to Cup wins in ’36 and ’37. This Mud will help a GPA, is a Pop-1 and superior to the other seven Bruneteau cards submitted to PSA over the years. It’s also one of only 16 cards from ’39-40 (all players combined – 954 total submissions as of press time) to garner NM-MT 8 status.
