Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Another stirring image here is that of Didier Pitre, the first player signed by Jack Laviolette after the latter was given the job of picking/assembling "les Canadiens" in 1909. The idol of French Canadians, Pitre used his shot, considering the hardest in hockey, to score, score, with this example of his Imperial Tobacco C55 card scoring a lofty NM 7 at PSA. It’s a Pop-4, with just two NM-MT 8s (one with a qualifier) edging it on the PSA Population Report, with 94 total submissions of the Pitre card to the company to date.
