Deceased HOFers Tim Horton and coach Punch Imlach and fellow HOFer Pierre Pilote are among the blue ballpoint autographs to be found in this multi-signed 1968-69 WHL Vancouver Canucks program. The minor league team’s program, which measures 11” x 8 1/4", was for a pair of Oct. 1 and 3, 1968 exhibition games against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum, which opened in January of that year. Horton has signed vertically within the L and W of the word “Always” on the left side of the rosters centerfold pages. Imlach, Pilote, Floyd Smith, Murray Oliver, Jim Dorey and Gerry Meehan are the other Leafs who have signed on the left side while Pilote has signed again on the right side along with Mike Walton, who has signed “Michael” for his first name. Horton has also signed on page 32 inside the back cover, the last page of the program which also has another autograph and some ballpoint notations. Don Cherry and HOF junior coach Brian Kilrea are among the members of the Canucks who have signed on the left centerfold page including the likes of Bill McNeill (2), Ralph Stewart, Germain Gagnon, John Gofton, Darryl Sly and Jim Blain. There are various ballpoint notations from the game around the rosters on both sides of the centerfold page, and ballpoint numbers written on the upper jersey of the cover illustration.
