In the 1970-71 NHL season Boston's Phil Esposito had a year for the ages, destroying the previous single season scoring records with an amazing 76 goals and 152 points. On March 10th, in an 8-1 drubbing of the California Golden Seals, he scored his 58th goal of the year to tie Bobby Hull's record for goals in a season. Two nights later, in Los Angeles, he beat Denis Dejordy of the Kings twice to firstly break Hull's record with his 59th, and then become the first player in NHL history to score 60 goals. Offered here are complete, EX+ programs for both historic games, with Esposito's game-signed autograph on the cover of the March 10th copy.
