Sam Pollock stocked minor league titles on his way to building the Habs dynasties of the 1960s and ‘70s. Sad Sam’s Hull-Ottawa Canadiens team photos offered include a 1960-61 framed official team photo that measures 10” x 13 1/2" featuring the likes of NHLers Rousseau, McCreary, McNeil and Johnston mounted in a 16 3/4" x 20” wood frame. Bowman, Backstrom, Balfour, Rousseau, Ruel and Gilles Tremblay appear in a 1956-57 Ottawa Canadiens team photo on a one-of-a-kind piece that features a 12x17 paper stock print displayed on a thick cardboard background painted red, white and blue. The 1956-57 Ottawa Canadien Hockey Club team photo display measures 20” x 24” with the hard cardboard backing bowing forwards in an arch. There is some paint loss to the red, white and blue, mostly on the bottom edge. The hand-lettered title paper plaque helps make it a unique vintage display piece from a former player. The name of longtime Habs photographer “David Bier” is embossed in the bottom right corner of the 10x8 of a Habs minor league player displayed in a cream matte with red, white and blue stripes mounted in a 16 1/2" x 13 1/2" wood frame.
