Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Wonderful 14-karat gold and diamond ring was presented to Patrick Roy's then-wife Michele to commemorate the Habs goalie's participation in the 1992 All-Star Game in Philadelphia. St. Patrick stopped 13 of 15 first-period shots in the Wales' 10-6 loss at the old Spectrum on January 18, 1992. With a total weight of approximately 11 grams, this elegant creation displays a real diamond set in the middle of the Flyers' ASG logo on the tableau. Michele's initials, "M.P.R.", are engraved inside the size 6 1/2 band along with the date of the game and the "Tiffany & Co. 14K 585" stamp. Part of the proceeds of the sale of this item will go towards the "Fond d'etudes des Remparts de Quebec". Comes with Patrick Roy's signed LOA. Proud wear on this beauty shows in two dings on the bezel and various light scratches, scuffs and very, very light nicks on the edges.
