Tony Gabriel continued to pile up the awards right up to the end of his sensational CFL playing career. Offered here are three original awards from the great Canadian tight end's final three seasons with the Ottawa Rough Riders, including his framed certificates as a member of the league's 1979 and 1980 all-Canadian all-star teams and Gabriel's 1981 Lew Hayman Award as the CFL's Outstanding Canadian Player in the Eastern Division. All three awards are offered directly from Gabriel's personal collection. Both of the framed certificates bear longtime CFL commissioner Jake Gaudaur's original signature. The 1981 Hayman award offered here is the fourth and final one he received in an outstanding career with Hamilton and Ottawa that led to his induction into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1985. These three original CFL awards come along with Tony Gabriel's signed letter of authenticity.
