Newly minted Hall-of-Famer Andre Dawson wore this #10 Montreal Expos jersey during the 1984 season. The Hawk established Expos single season records the previous season with 32 homers and 113 RBIs. He had 36 doubles and 10 triples among his 189 hits in 1983, barely missing out on a fourth straight .300 season at the plate with a .299 batting average. Limited to 138 games in 1984, Andre still managed to hit 17 homers and drive in 86 runs. An "84" season set patch is patch is sewn onto the right front tail of this white Expos home gamer with blue and red shoulder and side stripes. The jersey features a red, white and blue team logo crest sewn onto the left breast, along with "expos" spelled out in individual blue twill letters. Rawlings size 46 tagging in the neck has a "3 inch extra long" fly tag sewn onto the right side. Dawson's No. 10, which was retired by the Expos, is sewn in blue twill onto the right front and back of the jersey while his surname is spelled out in individual blue twill letters sewn in an arc directly onto the back. Four tiny spots on the lower left side of the jersey are possible bloodstains. A black marker "X" is penned inside the left front tail. Pilling on left side of jersey and wear at the back of the collar offer best evidence of game use. Great piece with the Hawk all set to finally to take his perch in Cooperstown this summer!
