After helping the Chicago Black Hawks reach the semi-finals four times in the 1980s, defenseman Keith Brown finally got to see his team reach the Stanley Cup final in 1991-92, his 12th of 14 seasons in the Windy City. Brown had eight assists in 14 playoff games, though he did not dress for any of the games in the final against Pittsburgh because of a shoulder injury. Offered here is the 1991-92 gamer worn by Brown throughout the playoffs and made ready for his use in the final, with a 1992 Stanley Cup patch sewn onto the right breast on a patch of red fabric sewn over the NHL 75th anniversary patch. Maska and size 54 fly tags remain in the neck and the jersey's fight strap is intact. Four team repairs on the left sleeve and another on the right sleeve as well as stick marks on the back of the jersey display great game use as Brown helped contribute to the Black Hawks' NHL playoff record 11-game winning streak that ended with the Penguins' four-game sweep. Comes with two LOAs, including one on Black Hawks letterhead signed by HOFer Bob Pulford.
