Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010

Rare and sought-after style issued to and worn by Ken Hodge while with the Boston Bruins during the 1991-92 season. This design was worn by the Bruins as part of the tribute to the Original Six throughout the league's 75th Anniversary season. The 75th patch sits up on the right breast and Ken's surname crosses the back shoulders in individually-applied lettering. Tagged in the neck by Maska, the Ultrafil knit is crafted in a smaller size with a 52 fly tag off to one side. Nice game use here with lots of smaller stick marks on the lower front along with numerous material pulls. Six board burn holes appear on the right elbow with a few more on the other arm. That wonderful red Boston Garden board paint shows up in a few areas and more stick marks can be found on the sleeves. A peek inside reveals the "Lettering by Custom Crafted" screening and the CCM logo is sewn into the rear hem beside the league shield crest. Amazing use on this very rare style, the Bruins uniforms from the Turn-Back-The-Clock program are very tough to obtain.
