Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Straight from the original owner and featuring generally smooth edges and sharp corners are these '68-69 O-Pee-Chee cards. For the most part, EX-MT+ and NRMT-or-better cards are rather impressively well-centered overall and should please their new owner. The Bobby Orr card (#2) has been graded NM 7 by KSA, with its diamond-cut to be mentioned, while a duplicate (raw) Orr is EX. Checklist #61 has but three boxes penned in, with #121 unmarked and EX-MT. A printing line/ripple, commonly seen with this issue, is present on the Gordie Howe and a small percentage of other cards, but no keys. Extremely subtle age toning (right edge) can be intermittently spotted while sifting through these beauties.
