Hall-of-Famers Bill Durnan, Dick Irvin, Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Doug Harvey, Kenny Reardon, Elmer Lach and Emile "Butch" Bouchard each signed this game-used Billy Reay hockey stick. This Reay gamer is covered with autographs from members of the 1948-49 Montreal Canadiens. Reay led the Habs in scoring that season with 45 points in 60 games, including a team-high 22 goals and 23 assists, beating out Richard, who finished second, seven points behind. Lach signed the front of the shaft, just beneath the original black tape on the butt end, followed by Dorohoy, Reay, Carveth, Riopelle, Mosdell, Fillion, Harvey, Locas, Durnan, Robertson, Irvin, Reardon, Richard, Bouchard and Chamberlain. Reay's #14 is stamped on the face of the shaft of this McNiece's Sports game stick that features the original black tape on the blade. "December 1, 1948" is handwritten on the bottom of the front of the shaft, just above the heel of the blade that remains fully intact. An incredible display piece with great Hall of Fame pedigree, Habs legends abound on this wonderful vintage wand!
