Absolutely exquisite Terry Sawchuk game-used stick is not only one of the finest examples of the legendary goalie's wands we have ever seen, it's covered with signatures from members of the Toronto Maple Leafs' 1967 Stanley Cup champions, including Sawchuk himself! "Sawchuk" is stamped on the front of the handle of this CCM Custom Pro goalie stick which retains the great goalie's original tape jobs on both the blade, paddle and butt end, which features white tape covering his thick black tape knob. The four-time Vezina winner and five-time Stanley Cup champ signed adjacent to the "CCM" printed on the front of the paddle, his black marker signature substantially faded though still clearly visible. Sawchuk's fellow Hall of Fame goaltending partner Johnny Bower is among the 12 Maple Leafs who signed the upper shaft. Beginning with Kelly just above the paddle and - moving upwards - followed by Ellis, Jeffrey, Shack, Pronovost, Hillman, Bower, Mahovlich, Armstrong, trainer Bob Haggert, Conacher and Keon. Considering that Conacher only appeared in two games in 1965-66 while playing a full season and the playoffs with the Leafs the following year when they won the Cup, it's most likely that this Sawchuk gamer dates from the 1966-67 season. It's hard to imagine a better find to add to your Sawchuk/Maple Leafs shrine.
