Peter Bondra became the first Slovakian player to record 500 NHL goals during the 2006-07 season with Chicago. Bondra, who scored his first 472 goals with Washington before adding 26 more with Ottawa and Atlanta, became the 37th player to join this elite group on December 22, 2006 - exactly one month after Teemu Selanne scored his 500th - with his second of just five goals in 37 games with the Black Hawks. A United Center ticket from the game that saw Bondra victimize Toronto's Jean-Sebastien Aubin for his 500th is featured here along with the original NHL official scorer's handwritten club playing rosters signed by Chicago coach Denis Savard and Toronto coach Paul Maurice, respectively. Both original rosters are accompanied by individual COAs from NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, both of whom erroneously identify the accomplishment as Bondra's "50th goal" and mistakenly date the game as December 23, not 22.
