Mario Lemieux scored his 500th goal in his 605th regular season game, making the Pittsburgh Penguins legend the second-fastest to reach this plateau behind only Wayne Gretzky, who holds the record at 575 games. Super Mario became the 20th NHL player to record 500 goals on October 26, 1995 when he scored on the New York Islanders' Tommy Soderstrom in the Penguins' 7-5 win at the Nassau Coliseum. This framed Lemieux 500th goal montage features a 10" x 8" dressing room shot of Lemieux brandishing his 500th goal puck. A ticket stub from Lemieux's 500th goal game is also displayed within the white matte along with an oversized 7" x 5" Donruss Lemieux 500th goal commemorative card, all mounted within a 15 1/2" x 16 1/2" black frame.
