Chicago Black Hawks legend Stan Mikita became the 8th player in NHL history to score 500 goals -- a feat he accomplished during the 1976-77 season. Mikita, a two-time Hart Trophy winner, claimed the Art Ross Trophy four times in five seasons in the mid-1960s. The Czech-born, Canadian-raised centre recorded his 500th goal on February 27, 1977 when he beat Vancouver's Cesare Maniago in a 4-3 loss to the Canucks at Chicago Stadium. Offered here are a pair of framed montages honouring Mikita's 500th goal, each featuring an original ticket stub from the Hall-of-Famer's historic game. Mikita has added his #21 and "500th goal to his blue Sharpie signature on an 8" x 10" shot of himself, which comes with a COA and is displayed with a ticket stub within a white matte mounted in a 14" x 13" black frame. Another ticket stub from Mikita's 500th goal game is mounted in the upper left corner of an 8" x 10" picture of Mikita with three pucks displaying "5-0-0" balanced on his Northland stick presented in a 12 1/4" x 14 1/4" black frame.
