Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Fantastic pieces from the United States' fantastic performance at the first ever World Cup in 1996 has several highlights and recalls, among others, Mike Richter's heroics as the U.S. knocked-off Canada to claim top honors! A Team USA practice jersey is an air-knit job by Nike in size 56 and shows wear and laundering, notably on the (screened) crest. Joining it is a Keith Tkachuk team signed game used Louisville TPS stick and a marvelous team signed poster (22x34), each with some 28 autographs, including Leetch, Chelios, Hull, Modano, Lafontaine, Richter et al. Complementing things are combination 10K gold and sterling silver cuff links with the '96 World Cup logo, a game used puck, a Team USA flag, a media guide, a champions cap and two lapel pins. Like we said at the top, fantastic!
