Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction March 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/16/2010
Vintage puck enthusiasts will surely be intrigued and excited with this fabulous find, manufactured by the CCM company during the 1942 to 1946 time frame. According to "Becker's Hockey Puck Guide", written by puck authority Darren Becker, the accompanying two-piece box is rare itself and valued at some $400. The puck meanwhile is in fantastic near mint condition and features the classic smooth sides and sharp edges of the day. The CCM octagonal logo appears to be rubberized and sure will look good amongst your other old beauties. Sturdy orange-colored box lid is EX with light soiling but no tears or other unsightly flaws. Outstanding!
