“Rock-hard maple.” That could easily describe Vladimir Guerrero’s
muscles, though in this case it is stamped directly onto the slugging
outfielder’s baseball bat. Guerrero, who began his career with the
Montreal Expos, used this Louisville Slugger as a member of the Los
Angeles Angels, as evidenced by the “Vladimir Guerrero, Angels
Baseball, Genuine C243” engraved on the barrel. The Dominican giant’s
familiar No. 27 is written in black marker on the knob of the two-
tone, dark red to red, maple bat which exhibits nice game use. “Maple
TPX” is stamped in gold on the reverse of the barrel, along with the
MLB logo.
