The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Hammerin’ Hank used this lengthy piece of lumber at some point from
1973 to 1975 according to markings on the barrel. The H&B Henry Aaron
signature Louisville Slugger is stamped with the model number “A99” on
the knob and has the registered mark over “Powerized” indicating it is
a post-1972 example. This one measures out to 35 inches in length.
Shows light use with a good splash of pine tar or resin just in front
of the label. Aaron’s 755 home runs stood as the record until it was
smashed last year by Barry Bonds. Also included in the lot is a mid to
late-Seventies team signed Montreal Expos ONL Feeney ball with sigs
from Tony Perez, Steve Rogers and others. Sigs on this used game ball
are approx. 5 out of 10 in terms of condition.
